Tim Brittain

Born in Auckland New Zealand, Tim’s love for the land began during the school holiday’s when he regularly holidayed on a farm near Taupo. He completed a Diploma in Agriculture at Massey University and in 1980 bought his first farm in Otorohanga. Six years later he bought more land nearby.   In 1993 Tim graduated with an MBA. Tim has been actively involved in farmer politics and was from 1995 until 2004 a Producer Director of the New Zealand Meat Board (Meat New Zealand). Tim is past President of Angus New Zealand and was Chairman of the 2013 World Angus Forum.  He has been Chairman of AngusPure Ltd since 2005 and active in the development of AngusPure as the leading New Zealand Beef brand.

Kelly Brittain

Kelly is very involved and hands on with all the stud and farm operation and is responsible for overseeing the day to day operation.  She has a very good eye for cattle and has completed a Beef Class Structural Assessment course. She is assisted by two Australian Kelpie’s,  Blackie and Lexi!

Bruce and Renee Walker

Bruce and Renee joined us at the end of July 2016 to take on the role of Stock Manager. Bruce’s passion for cattle has seen him settle in really quickly to the Storth Oaks ethos.  He looks forward to meeting as many customers as possible over this years bull sale.

Fiona McLanachan

Fiona joined the team at Storth Oaks in January 21 as a Shepherd/General.  Fiona grew up on a Sheep and Beef property in the Wairarapa and graduated from Lincoln University in 2019.  She has spent a year on a sheep and cropping property around Darfield in 2020 before joining us.
