We take great pride in the level of measurement that goes into every aspect of the stud.  Storth Oaks has been committed to full performance recording since the stud was registered in 1991.

Our aim is to improve the profitability of our customers and their beef businesses.  We believe that through the use of the best technologies available, we can assist in moving our customers bottom lines upwards.

The AngusPRO index ($PRO) has been developed by Angus Australia, specifically for New Zealand’s feed and farming conditions.  It represents animals being sold and processed into New Zealand’s beef markets.

“The fertility of our cattle blows me away.  With the yearling heifers we’re getting 96-98% in two cycles, consistently.  We also have no calving issues at all and I believe it’s directly credited back to the Storth Oaks bloodlines.”

- Rob Craw, Ohana Farms, Coromandel

“Since using Storth Oaks bulls not only has our carcase quality improved but so has our fertility. In February 2022 we have just had our best in-calf scanning with our first calving heifers, 94% in calf.

- Kim Dodgshun, Nicks Head Station, Gisborne
